Description : The amount of 0.02 normal NaOH required to neutralize 100ml of water sample by using phenolphthalein as the indicator should not be greater than 5ml. Here, the acidity is equivalent to 49 ppm of H2So4 or 36 ppm of HCL. Algae are observed on the surface of the mixing water or on the surface of the aggregates.
